What is the set up?

The set up is just like in a co-working space, except that you also get to sleep and eat on location. SnowUp taking place during one week of Alpine Co-Working in Ftan. From 25 to 31 January, we have Microsoft's BizSpark developer team on location and invites you to co-work from the mountains. 

You are working on your own stuff but can walk over to Mikhail, Stefano, Ken and Vera, the developer team at BizSpark and find the best way of implementing your solution. They are looking forward to exchanging with you! 

What is the deal?

You are a startup working with the Microsoft BizSpark program? Lucky you!

BizSpark is sponsoring 50 spots for the last week of January.

Full week / 6 nights: CHF 100
Half week / 3 nights: CHF 75

  • The offer is valid for a maximum of 2 participants per startup. Extra spots come at regular rate of CHF 85/night. 
  • At the time of your booking you must already be signed up with BizSpark.

BizSpark gives startups 3 years of free stuff – software, services, tech support and Azure cloud.

Meet the BizSpark Team

Ken Casada

Ken Casada is a technical evangelist by Microsoft Switzerland and since more than 10 years he is supporting medium and large companies in the software development on the Microsoft Platform. Before joining MS he was a developer in a bank and in a MS partner company. Currently he is focusing on Microsoft Azure (Cloud).

At Snow-up Sascha will give an introduction to Azure.

Sascha Corti 

Sascha Corti works for Microsoft Switzerland as a Technical Evangelist focusing on the Microsoft system platform and development tools. His previous work experience includes seven years as a software-developer and -architect for a major Swiss bank and working as a systems engineer and technology specialist for Silicon Graphics.

At Snow-up Sascha will talk about “Microsoft and the Internet of Things”.

Ronnie Saurenman

Ronnie Saurenman is a specialist in software development and architecture. He is supporting and consulting top web sites, agencies and large companies on software and cloud architecture. He is mostly focusing on Azure (Cloud) and Windows 10 Client development. He has more than 20 years of experience in software design for large enterprises, top web sites and Apps. Ronnie is regularly speaking at international conferences and before joining Microsoft he was lead software architect in a bank.

At Snow-up Ronnie will talk about Microsoft UI technologies.

 

Mikhail Chatillon.jpg

Mikhail Chatillon

Mikhail Chatillon has been a Technical Evangelist at Microsoft for 2 years now. He previously worked in the banking industry and completed his Computer Science studies. He is currently working with the startup and students audiences. His focus topics are the Cloud and the video game developement.

At Snow-up Mikhail will talk about Azure and Open Source.

Manuel Michaud

Manuel Michaud comes originally from the Valais/Wallis, so he loves beeing in the mountain especially during winter time :) At Microsoft he is managing the team of Technical Evangelists and building the bridge between technology and business by working closely with the Microsoft Business Development Managers. One of his focus topic is the Azure Marketplace, a central place to publish and deploy software solutions on Microsoft Azure. 

Vera Biehl

Vera Biehl is coordinating Microsoft'sStartup Program "BizSpark" in Switzerland. She selects Startups and connects them with technical Microsoft experts to help them improve their (cloud) solution.

Vera will be talking about BizSpark Plus and Go-to-market Support.

Olaf Feldkamp

Olaf Feldkamp works as a Business Development Manager and helps successful Swiss software companies to become even more successful by helping them to take advantage of the most recent Microsoft platform stack including Microsoft Azure, Office 365 and Windows 10. In his role he ensures software companies get access to the right offers and programs available. Olaf originally studied Information Technology and later earned an Executive Master degree in Business Engineering.

Beat Schuppli

Beat Schuppli works as a Business Development Manager and helps successful Swiss software companies to become even more successful by helping them to take advantage of the most recent Microsoft platform stack including Microsoft Azure, Office 365 and Windows 10. In his role he ensures software companies get access to the right offers and programs available. Beat has a long IT background in different roles and topics. Over the last 6 years he was responsible for large enterprise customers. Beside his IT studies he has an Advanced Certificate in Business Administration and a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Sales and distribution management.

Beat will be talking about BizSpark Plus and Go-to-market Support.

Stefano Mallé 

Stefano Mallé is Director Developer eXperience and evangelism Group at Microsoft Switzerland.

Cancellation Policy
In the unfortunate case of you being unable to attend the retreat you are welcome to transfer your reservation to a friend also working with the BizSpark program. The fee for BizSpark Snow Up packages is non-refundable. In any case: Talk to us!
